Fired Kanye West’s Guard Fights Back

It can be rightly said that guarding Kanye West was like living the life of Diablo. Who know? Maybe, the sacked body guard can prove this on the rapper.

Yeezy wasn’t easy, says his former bodyguard Steve Stanulis.

The hot-headed rapper and the heavily-built bodyguard had a brief altercation at a fashion studio on Wooster St. during a Fashion Week in February when West noticed Stalinus chatting with Kim Kardasian. That was a crime. The guard probably forgot his 101 lessons.

Stanulis, as he’s known is said to be a former NYPD police officer and Chippendales stripper. He has nothing but praises for the 35-year-old “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star who he said was “very gracious.” Referring to Kanye, he said, ‘not so much’. Hope he writes a book for the short-lived stint with the family.

“When they first asked me to do this gig again, I turned it down,” Stanulis said about his recent job with the family. “I figured that since they were requesting me, the rapport with Kanye would be better.”

The 42-year-old former NYPD officer has made looking after celebrities has business and counts Leonardo DiCaprio and Alanis Morissette among his clients.

Stanulis is married and has three children.  He has also appeared in film and TV projects including “The Sopranos” and “I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry.”

The hulking muscle-for-hire said he just wants to put the whole thing behind him and said West was getting his just desserts.

“Me being here and this getting this much attention, it’s basically karma f—ing him in the ass,” Stanulis said. “That’s what this is. It’s god’s way, he has a strange way of making things right.”

The beefy bodyguard sacked by West for having the gall to speak to his reality star wife says Yeezy is the most stuck-up celeb he’s ever worked for.

Stanulis said his time with West came to an end as he was standing guard outside the Waldorf Astoria Monday as the celebrity couple prepared for the night’s Met Gala in the hotel’s presidential suite.

He went upstairs to confer with someone from the West team about transportation to the gala when Kardashian answered the door.

“She was just naturally speaking to me in a normal manner,” Stanulis said. “I would describe it as her being very gracious and having a nice dialogue. I was surprised she was very nice. She’s the polar opposite with me than he was.”

Stanulis found out he’d been cut loose at West’s request shortly after 6 p.m., while waiting along with the rest of the entourage to drive the stars to Anna Wintour’s big bash at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

“What I could say was that him or his handlers didn’t like what they saw, the body language or what have you,” he said. “They may have though there was something going on that wasn’t.”

“I’m not having an affair with Kim Kardashian, I’m not f—ing Kim Kardashian, I’m not doing anything with Kim Kardashian,” Stanulis told the Daily News Thursday. “Kanye needs to chill out.”

After his bizarre beef with West, Stanulis doesn’t think he’ll be protecting the rapper during his upcoming tour in support of his “The Life of Pablo” album.

“He’s the most condescending person I’ve ever met in my life,” Stanulis said. “I’ve worked with a lot of people in his position and higher a lot less self-absorbed and more humble.”

People close to West say that Stanulis wasn’t fired, that he was only a temporarily hired for the day, according to TMZ.

The site said sources close to the “Gold Digger” rapper think the former male stripper is just looking for publicity.

“My intent was not for this to happen,” Stanulis fumed. “When I’m walking outside my door and there are six guys with cameras asking me with my wife there ‘are you f—ing Kim Kardashian?’ I didn’t ask for that!”

  1. I like the valuable info you provide in your articles. I’ll bookmark your blog and check again here regularly. I am quite sure I’ll learn plenty of new stuff right here! It’s good the guard sued Kanye. The rapper think himself God.

  2. Possible he flirted with Ki. She’d do anything with anyone who gets close enough. I don’t really think Kanye is that stupid to sack a worker if nothing went on behind closed. He kept quiet and decided to not let it happen again. My opinion.

  3. Fantastic blog by the way! Kanye shouldn’t have fired the guard for thinking he out-stepped his boundaries if it was on his wife’s command.

  4. Many thanks for the good writeup. It’s totally interesting to know that Kim somehow stoop that low against Kanye’s commands. She’s a homebreaker and has been lucky her husband isn’t the many women type.
