Enrique Iglesias and his wife Anna Kournikova have shared pictures of their bundles of joy on social media, including their sweet nicknames, and we think they’re so cute.
The lovebirds met way back in 2001 on the set of Enrique’s music video, and have been inseparable ever since.
Despite their love for privacy, the couple found a moment to step in the spotlight for good. Nothing could be better than showing off their lovely newborn twins, don’t you think?.
“My Sunshine,” the adoring parents each shared as a caption to their Instagram photos showing one of the twins on Tuesday.
The pictures show Iglesias, his wife Kournikova, and their newborns Nicholas and Lucy.
In December 2017, the couple shared news that Kournikova had given birth on the 16th, after a very private pregnancy. The babies were born at a hospital in Miami, with no baby bump noticed all along.
“Their family and friends didn’t even know,” an insider told ET, adding that “they had been preparing for a while to have kids and are over the moon.”
“They spent a lot of time and money on their home to baby proof it,” the source adds.
In an interview with Hola! magazine, Iglesias’ mother squashed rumors that her daughter-in-law may have used surrogates. She said the couple did not intentionally keep the pregnancy a secret, stressing that “they both enjoy a low-key life.”
Isabel Preysler said, “Being low-key is just Kournikova’s way of life.”
“Anna has not had to hide herself,” Preysler also said to a Spanish magazine, “she leads a very simple life and is a homebody.”
“[On his son’s excitement as a first-time dad] Enrique is extraordinarily happy in these moments.”
Is it possible that Iglesias and his wife are not “legally” married?
The 42-year-old Spanish musician was quoted as telling E! Online in 2016, “I don’t believe you need a piece of paper to show you love someone…Who knows what the future holds … or the past … haha.”
