Would you call this love, understanding, selflessness or rather, madness?

She’s got a justifiable reason you might find funny.

The TV presenter, Saira Khan says she lost her sex drive.

She was involved in a discussion about sex on Loose Women as one of the panelists. During the arguments, questions and answers, the TV personality openly admitted that she doesn’t have urge for sexual intimacy anymore.

In fact, Saira confessed she no longer has sex with husband Steve Hyde.

They’ve been married for 11 years, a report said.

In her confession, the asexual woman revealed: “I’m 46, I have a busy life and have two kids. I am so lucky.

“We used to have a fantastic sex life. I still love my husband, we cuddle up and it’s lovely. We’ve been together for 11 years, but I’m not interested [in sex]. I don’t want to”

The woman went ahead to add that her husband is free to catch fun with whoever will give him happiness, sexual happiness.

In her words: “The other day, I was dressed up to go out and he told me I looked nice and I was like, ‘Thanks!’, and ran out of the door.

“As soon as he comes home, I panic and start saying, ‘I’m so tired!’ I’m embarrassed to say this but I said to him you can go with someone else if you want.

“I want to make him happy. He’ll kill me for saying this… Am I the only one?”

One of the panelists that goes with the name “Agony aunt”, Coleen Nolan reassured Saira Khan that it’s a normal feeling for women at one point in their lives. She comforted her by saying “it was difficult to get in the mood sometimes.”

“You don’t always fancy it and then it takes 20 seconds to get in the mood and sometimes another 20 to do it,” she said.

  2. As long as her hubby is OK with it, fine. But for me, its a no no.meanwhile great website you have here. Always have something new and interesting for the readers

  3. When the Prophet introduced Islam to the Arab society in Makkah, the hardliners ,as the like of Omar and Hamza, threw everything to resist the Islamic ideology. They treated the new converters with brutality and their hearts were full hatreds towards anyone who wanted to change their way of life. After some times, these hardliners converted to Islam and became the most merciless and radical individuals in Islam history. Extremism is an illness; if Ms Khan had been raised in Pakistan, she would have done everything to combat western values. “I am ok with my husband to have sex with other women” is not of value in western societies; it is taking the freedom of choice to another extreme level. This kind of mentality justifies the urge in those men who do not find their wives sexually attractive after giving birth to their children. What is wrong with living a normal life? We all get old and as we do, we lose interest in sex. There are so many things that you cannot do now but you used to do them when you were younger. It is normal and there is no need to make a scene out of this to show how liberated and self-confident you are!
