BREAKING NEWS: FlyDubia’s Boeing 737 Crashes Killing 62 Passengers.

The aircraft involved is believed to be FlyDubai Flight FZ981 using this Boeing 737-800 aircraft

Sad news! Reports from Dailymail confirms a FlyDubai Boeing 737-800 has crashed as it attempted to land at a Russian airport. 55 passengers and 7 crew members from Dubai were on-board though earlier reports said that 61 people were aboard the flight.

Governor of Rostov region Vasily Golubev (above) talks to the media in a terminal of Rostov-on-Don airport about the plane crash. He was quoted by Russian news agencies as telling local journalists that the plane crashed about 250 meters (800 feet) short of the runway

Every passenger and crew aboard died after the flight FZ981 attempted landing at Rostov-on-Don in Russia. The cause of the crash according to Russia’s Emergencies Ministry was due to poor visibility and bad weather which seemed unavoidable at the second attempt to land the plane.

During landing, the tail touched the runway, broke down and busted into flames.

Most passengers of the ill-fated plane were residents of the southern Russian city of Rostov-on-Don, but there were also several foreigners aboard as well.

Flight FZ981 included 33 women, 18 men and four children as passengers, according to the airline.

Time of the crash was 8.50pm ET, which is 3.50am Moscow time.
