Hurray! Our beloved Beyonce is pregnant again with a double blessing.
The “Lemonade” singer and her hubby Shawn “Jay Z” Carter made the announcement on Instagram, saying they’re expecting twins.
Bey also added a picture which exposed her bare belly as a proof to the testimony.
Their social media revelation gained a record-breaking 7,822,225 likes, making it the most “liked” post in Instagram’s history.
“We would like to share our love and happiness,” the couple shared.
“We have been blessed two times over. We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes,” they added in the message which was signed off with “– The Carters.”
On 1 February, Queen Bey’s stylist Marni Senofonte shared the singer’s picture on her Instagram page with the caption “TMinus11Days !!!!!”
The post sparked speculations that Jay’s wife will likely perform in the upcoming Grammy event which goes live on 12 February, 2017, at the Staples Center, Los Angeles.
“I have three hearts,” Beyonce shared again on Beyonce.com to express her joy for the unborn twins.
Beyonce and Jay Z, parents to Blue Ivy Carter, got married in 2008.
Their baby girl was born in January 2012.
In 2013, Bey revealed during a “Life’s But A Dream” documentary that she had a miscarriage before getting pregnant for Ivy. The time was believed to be around 2010 or 2011.
“[The miscarriage] was the saddest thing I’ve ever been through,” she said.
“My life is a journey. … I had to go through my miscarriage, I believe I had to go through owning my company and managing myself … ultimately your independence comes from knowing who you are and you being happy with yourself.”
An October 2016 report from Radar Online said Beyonce told her hubby that she didn’t want a second child.
The couple found it hard to conceive after Ivy’s birth but Jay Z really wanted another biological child. He has been a committed father to Ivy since his wife’s Lemonade tour.
“They have discussed adoption, as well as other methods such as in-vitro fertilization, but they keep coming back to the same place,” a source told the news outlet.
“Jay Z wants to have another biological child.”
There has been rumors that the former Destiny’s Child singer used a surrogate mom after announcing the pregnancy, but she has proved haters wrong with her latest Instagram pics.
“I’m happy for them,” John Legend, a friend of the family, told ET Online. “It’s a beautiful thing. They already know that though. They already have a wonderful daughter, they know what it feels like, and I’m excited for them.”
