Adidas, how old are you? That’s a typical question anyone who sees this picture should ask. I’ve asked mine already.
We all know Adidas as an international brand seen everywhere and there’s no doubt that it is the most (imitated) popular sports shoe brand. I have seen similar ones like ‘Adibas’ and ‘Abidas’.
Hold your arguments for a moment and look at this picture.
That’s a 1,500-year-old mummy in Adidas shoes.
The mummy was found 10,000 feet up in Mongolia’s Altai mountains wearing what looks like an Adidas pair of shoes.
Historians and archaeologists say the mummy dates back more than a million years before Adi Dassler created the brand in Germany (1924).
Experts believe that the foot wrappings signify high status symbol which might get proofs soon.
A researcher at Khovd Museum, B. Sukhbaatar explained this to the Siberian Times: “Now we are carefully unwrapping the body and once this is complete the specialists will be able to say more precisely about the gender.”
