It was a confession from the heart as the Grammy Awards winner and new mom Adele told fans on stage that she was wearing a thong pant for the first time since 10 years.
Then she gave the loyal 20,000 fans a booty performance and said, “My arse is enormous so it’s disappeared!”
“I think I just twerked!” she said excitedly at her previous attempt to twerk on stage. “I can’t do it that well. My whole body has to move. My bum could break my back it’s so enormous.”
This lady seem to have humor in her.
Adele’s ongoing arena tour hasn’t been successful notwithstanding her melodic voice and the number of awards she has won. However, she has found a good way to laugh it off – good compensation for the few fans who attended the show at London’s O2 Arena.
She walked down from the stage and on her way up, her underwear was exposed then she had this to say:
“Oh my god, I nearly exposed me Spanx and me thong!”
“I’ve got to do an emergency shave in the car as well afterwards. It’s hard work being a working mother, isn’t it?”
Adele surely had fun but not just that, she couldn’t stop poking fun at herself.
At a point she said: “I only have three upbeat songs. And you’re about to hear them all in one go”.
“No use pretending to be something I’m not. If you want to dance, you better do it now!”
It hasn’t been easy for the singer as a new mom, she has said that many times. During the show she missed a few notes on her Bond theme song Skyfall but she dealt with it smartly.
“Let’s start that again, that was a bit flat… start that again.”
The cheering fans encouraged her as she tried again before hitting the tones right.
