£7.6m Mansion: Celine Dion to sell the luxe home she shared with late husband Rene Angelil

Celine Dion has offered her luxurious Parisian home for sale at an estimated £7.6m price.

She shared the mansion with her late husband Rene Angelil, who died earlier last year. It reportedly features five bedrooms, a spa, a wine cellar and more.

Rene died of cancer at the age of 73. He was Celine’s manager until June 2014 when he withdrew from the position due to his battle with throat cancer.

Later in August that year, the “Titanic” singer also had to put her career on hold so she could stay by his side.

She recently admitted that she felt very scared that Rene would hurt himself if he missed her so much.

In her confessional statement, Celine revealed: “Rene wanted to die in my arms but, alas, I was singing that night. He must have wanted to get up and he fell on the floor.”

She continued: “Normally, after my show when he had taken his last medications, I gave him a kiss, tucking him in and sent him off to sleep.

“That evening I didn’t want to wake him. It was the nurse who found him the next day. Distraught, she came to find me. I went into the room.”

“We have determined Mr. Angelil’s death was due to natural causes. No further investigation into his death is expected,” the coroner concluded.

Rene, a Canadian music producer, singer and talent manager, died on 14 January, 2016.

The Parisian mansion was where Celine’s husband spent his last days until he passed away. And media reports say the home which also features a cinema room is more likely to attract many buyers. It’ll cost a whooping  £7.6 million.

A report from The Mirror says this exotic property boasts of a 24-hour security.

With a clear view of the Eiffel Tower, Rene’s mansion is located at a place which has been described in the media as strictly for the nouveau riche.

Celine Dion and Rene stayed married for 21 years until he died. Reports claim Rene was the only man she has ever known.

The couple bought this isolated mansion way back in 2008, and spent some time there together except when she’s in the United States or elsewhere for her performances.

A report from The Daily Mail says Celine regrets not being around when Rene gave up the ghost. She was performing on stage at the time.
