Tupac Amaru Shakur is without doubts one of the greatest rappers to ever grace the stage in America. His influence on both young and old rippled across countries, continents, class and religion with so much ease.

His stand on social issues saw him running against the law on many occasions but the music icon will forever be admired for his boldness, style and flair. If Tupac would have made it to the U.S. Presidency as a Black President remains an issue for arguments.

He laid the foundation for rap music and his lyrics took the West-Coast rap scene by storm in the 1990’s.  With roughly 75 million albums sold, Tupac is also fondly remembered as one of the most commercially successful rappers ever.

Tupac’s fans had hopes of seeing him someday soon after a cop revealed from his dying bed that he was one of the few persons paid to cover up a fake assassination, death and burial of the Me Against The World rapper. It might be true that Shakur is actually in Cuba. Who knows? Rumors could come true. We shall keep dreaming till the day comes.

While believers kept on believing, some lucky others are retrieving memorabilia from Shakur worth thousands of dollars. Thanks to Craigslist as reports from TMZ confirmed. Apparently, 2Pac knew a day like this would come so he left many items yet unaccounted for.

A lucky Craigslist user who sought baseball cards dug up a goldmine when he made a purchase and surprisingly discovered very rare Tupac’s memorabilia which includes 3 notebooks. In the notebook was Tupac Shakur’s handwritten letters, lyrics and ideas. The lucky Craigslist customer also got three CD’s containing unreleased songs from 2Pac.

In one of the said three notebooks, Tupac kept a diary on the video for his 1993 Strictly For My N.I.G.G.A.S. track, “Point The Finga” as is seen in the picture below. This dairy record is selling for $35,000 on the memorabilia website called Moments In Time. The same site also has in stock another letter handwritten by Tupac expected to sell for a total $225,000.

Tupac’s mom Afeni Shakur is against these online sales of any memory left by her son Tupac Amaru Shakur. She has kept a strict policy of making sure that the sales are blocked online. Hopefully, she will succeed in stalling the bidding this time again.

It’s yet a marvel that the man who initially possessed the rare items once worked for Tupac but there’s no clue as at the moment how he got the materials.

Apparently, the said owner forgot these materials were in the baseball cards that was sold on Craigslist.

It is probable that the first owner of the rare items may be of blessed memories.

Bad news is, whoever sold the baseball cards on Craigslist may not even know the abysmal loss he has been cursed with. Definitely there may be more within reach that he doesn’t know yet.
